Agathe de Bailliencourt
Agathe attended the Ecole de Beaux-Arts in Cergy Pontoise and the Ecole Boulle, Paris. Since 2004, de Bailliencourt has been exhibiting internationally; in 2006 Agathe participated in the Singapore Biennale with a site-specific painting installation. In 2009, she was invited by Mori Art Museum in Tokyo to take part in the Roppongi Art Night and then later that year returned to Japan for the Tokyo Wonder Site Residency. Among her permanent public installations is the French Embassy in Tokyo. Most recently, de Bailliencourt took part in the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s workspace program and the Art Omi residency in Ghent, New York and Marfa Texas residency. Agathe currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
